Apple in talks with HzO to waterproof future devices?

HzO, a company that waterproofs electronics with its "WaterBlock" technology, is in talks with Apple about using the product in future releases including the Apple iPhone. The company displayed the product at CES 2012 in Las Vegas and one of the demonstrations of its nano-scale film barrier was to dunk a "WaterBlock" coated iPhone into water and showing that it continued to work as if nothing was done to the handset.
"WaterBlock" is a safe, organic material that HzO says does not add any weight to a device and is completely safe and non-toxic. It has been developed to protect expensive electronic devices from accidental encounters with water. Although the product is not intended to protect a device against total submersion of a device into a liquid for a period of time, electronics that have had "WaterBlock" added have been able to stay in water for "many continuous hours," and continue to work. The company says, "The technology is designed to protect against failure due to jumping in a pool and forgetting your phone was in your pocket, or dropping your iPod in the sink while doing dishes, or getting caught in a torrid rain storm and getting soaked, or leaving your smartphone in your pants when they go through the wash."
HzO has allegedly told CES attendees that it is in talks with Apple and that Samsung executives got excited when the company showed them a "WaterBlocked" Samsung Galaxy S II that continued to work after it was dunked in water. HzO was alleged to have said that its technology will be on next season's phones.
Unlike the Liquipel system, which requires a device to be sent to the company for the technology to be applied, HzO's product is applied to a device during the manufacturing process.
